Titanic Mistake
A living documentary of young man maturing into man. The young man abandons the safety of what he knows he can do. Miserably and tediously, putting in the hours, chasing the carrot stick he can grab.
The fresh new man trusts his instincts, his intuitions, the very soul of his being that suggest he pursue his dreams.
Dreams don't make sense. They are symbolic and allegorical. They tell us something, we interpret them. This man trusts his dreams, faithful that despite their illogical nature the dreams will enrich him.
The young man dreamt about documenting his father's decline from Alzheimer's. So the man does it.
The young man dreamt about being an artist. So the man does it.
The young man dreamt of being a fantastic husband. So the man is it.
The young man dreamt of starting a business. So the man does it.
The young man dreamt that spending a few hours a day with his dad, painting with him, talking with him, recording it all, that people will find it interesting. They will. The man will ensure it.
Along the way, people said he was making a mistake. That he was throwing away a multi-million dollar career. That he was good at what he had did.
But he knew it wasn't for him. So he proved it, that (scroungy) artist.
