The Days I Love Life

The days I love life are the sweetest. They're characterized by slow, relaxing appreciation of the moment. Of the company, which usually consists of my wife and dog these days. It's a respite from the hogwash and excitement the week has forged. But at the end of the week, it's heaven to be home. With nothing to do but watch a few movies, drink beer, and kick your feet back. But most importantly and almost taken for grantedly, the ability to achieve this state is the complete satisfaction of having filled the heart's holes. Having someone. Having some people (including your pooch) to share those moments with is all the merrier and all the enabling. So, appreciate. Love. Relax. That's a golden day in the life. And it's the purest, best luxury you could ever covet. Count your blessings and have as many as you can.

Hands & Tails

My dad's philosophy in life...

I'm sure my dad lived by a philosophy; certainly if he was aware of it (presence) or not.

My dad was the hardest working son of a bitch out there. And he was proud of it. He was so so proud of it. And I don't think he really had any way of sharing it in a way that was driven by his faith. His philosophy. ("Philosophly-influenced Faith"?:)

He was a football player and boy did he love it. He loved it so much that it's one of the reminiscences that survived (in some form or morsel) the longest. So he loved it.

I prayed to myself that I would be present with my dad in every single moment.. Every single, sometimes TEDIOUS, moment.

And to my wonderful surprise, it turned out to be one of the most enriching experiences I've had in my life. Quite possibly something I ought to be thankful for than angry.

The Faith is that I believe in It. I believe there is a (connotation: "one of many" but toned down slightly) spiritual path to discover the true essence of you and progressively to focus the ember. Live and Love it in EVERY moment.

So it requires detaching emotion from those things that distract the focus. And some of these things are incredibly enticing. Put your emotion in those things that grow and sustain your philosophly-influenced faith.

Anyway, so for my dad and the "Hands & Tails". My dad worked his tail off. And that led to his personal achievements. He also was a running back. And he was the doggone best of them. (See: Living and Loving blog, accessible on titanicmistake.com) Key to being any good running back is minimizing fumbles. It's what wins championships in close games. And it's the biggest risk. So he "held his hands right."

Knowingly (&) Possible

Is it possible to knowingly live life in such a way to develop a real and pertinent reflection of an experience that would otherwise be remiss if it weren't for the genius monitoring the whole thing?

__
"be remiss" substituted for "not be emulated" as Edit #2 but notable enough to be the first noted.

Status:
-Gifted, Talented, Genius, Exceptionally Intelligent (or Crazy? And at least if crazy it's borderline sometimes right?)
I am neither gifted nor talented as discovered by the Pine Tree Elementary's TAG program of the mid 80s. I complained enough or my mom did - could be either, I don't recall - that it resulted in my placement into the FLAME program in Monroe Woodbury Middle School. It bored me so I dropped out by EXPAND in high school. (However, a similar situation arised when I wasn't offered admission to the National Honors Society. I still don't really get that one. At least I have the "Essay Excuse" from my early admissions deferral. See: Duke Essay Excuse.)

Pattern recognition. Presence to identify and breakdown my patterns and the fortitude to innovate through them.

ENTREPRENEURIAL

1. GARP/Value oriented portfolio manager who currently has a fair understanding of the healthcare sector broadly and detailed understanding of the pharmaceutical and specialty pharmaceutical industries. More importantly, I have formulating concepts of market dynamics, portfolio building, and alpha isolation.
2. Fashion Design: If for nothing else than personal. I'd like to create semi-casual, multi-purpose shirts that I lustfully look forward to wearing.
3. Idea Auctioneer: I will create a website to establish a market for my notions, ideas, and concepts.
Taking the "Playboy" brand to a 21st century brand. It's still very stuck on the idea of a guy as the "Playboy." This idea is 50-60 years old. We've broken all those cultural barriers to the point of saturation. It's time to take it to the next level -> Enter the "Playmates" Concept where the playmates refer to the consumer, the replacement of the Playboy, which is the Playmate couple. The Playmate couple is strikingly contrasted to what one may preconceive as such.

Great Art Quote

"Art is the timeless expression of a moment."

I walked past a museum this evening and in the window was a huge banner with the following quote, which really hit me as true:

"Art is the timeless expression of a moment."

Unfortunately, I forget the first name of the person it is attributed to but I believe the last name is Rodriguez.

The Ten Commandments: Day Two, The Real Faith

The problem with the understanding we have of the real Faith, at least 10,000+ years from its founding is that we are stuck on its being as it was 10,000+ years ago in its infancy. We should be like Children and participate in each day as if it were our 895th day, and a day felt like a year so by your 12,000th day you were multiple generations of that in such. Errr... sorry, stinker moment here!

Te Be WAay Continued.

The Ten Commandments: Day 1

Don't hold grudges.

This sounds simple. This sounds really easy. The cornerstone of this guidance is the understanding of the tenet "I hold grudges every single time it's possible, especially when I'm convinced that I'm not."

This statement represents a new real new generation interpretation of the Truth. Or Is. Or To Be. What it is.

The reason that science indulges the belief that they've trumped faith is that they cannot prove its existence. Scientifically if something can not be proven or even strongly alluded to then it cannot be proven. If it cannot be proven then it must not exist because all existing things at the very least are provable that they do exist. Except for this one.

The strongest thread of humanity: The Debate and Or Acceptance of Faith (in the "God" Concept, at the very least).
